Amazing Holiday!
If you want the perfect holiday then look no further than the Royal Myconian, we were blown away by the staff, the view, the location, the spa and felt like we were home as soon as we arrived, a special mention has to go to Panos, Michael and Stella who made us so welcome and solved ever request with joy. All the staff were wonderful, we so recommend the various massages……they were orgasmic!!
We ate at the A la Carte Restaurant a lot during our stay and the food and service was of the Michelin Star class!
We cannot praise Grand Myconian enough, thank you just does not seem sufficient as they made our holiday perfect, the only thing we didn’t like was leaving, again to Panos and all the staff a massive THANK YOU, we will be back some day soon.
Value for money
The hotel is definitely worth trying. Looks good, it is clean and attended by welcoming staff. In addition, it is set on the Elya beach that is in my view the best on the island. The scenery is simply splendid. Other than that Mykonos can be pretty windy (except maybe in July) but don't let that stop you. You will get a wonderful tan and you will come back with very pleasant memories.
Really Royal!
We booked a sea view room which was on the second floor above the pool. View was breathtaking. The room was of average size, but the bed was huge. Bathroom was big and brand new. Our cleaning lady was the same every day - very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great - with lots of choice and champagne. The beach is clean with beautiful white sand (the hotel has a free private beach) and water is crystal clear. We rented a car for the whole stay and went to Myconos city to eat in the evenings. So I can say nothing about the hotel's restaurant. Went to spa once - quite relaxing experience. We had an early flight back so we asked to arrange a breakfast which was done. Stayed for 9 days& loved every minute of it.
Mind that the hotel stands on a steep heel, so it's a challenge to get to the beach on a hot sunny day (which was OK for us as we were willing to loose a few kilos). Also the hotel is away from the city, so if you want to get there you will defiantly be needing a car (we rented ours at the hotel).
This hotel is excellent if you want to relax away from the crowds and get a good service and as much sun&sea as you want.
Excellent
Clean, spacious, gracious, beautifully located. There is a free bus service into and from Mykonos (town) frequently, and its very punctual and well organized. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, healthy and diverse. The swimming pool was lovely. The beach area is separated from the rest by a small fence, and being at the end of the beach does keep it relatively private. There is a nightly bed turn-down service as well, and our room always seemed to be cleaned...no matter morning or evening. Towels were replenished multiple times each day. The complimentary toiletries were very good quality products.
Summary: I will return
